My mission is to make the viewer feel the richness and light of the paintings of the old masters, through a contemporary artwork. My original creations are colorful and ornamental works of art, which together captivate and delight the eyes. My oils also bring a touch of magic to each room allowing the spaces to metamorphose into colorful treasures, filled with a warm atmosphere and authentic colors.

Inspired by my origins and my Mediterranean culture, my original works integrate the colorful richness of Mediterranean mosaics, decorative arabesques, printed fabrics from the Near and Middle East and mastery of Russian art.

Eastern and Western inspirations
My art is deeply influenced by my multiple origins. I was born in 1963 in the UK, after my parents left Egypt during the Suez crisis. I am a Czech, Venetian, French and Ottoman mestizo. I spent 40 years in Montreal and 18 years in Luxembourg. In 2011, I bought a house in the Florida Keys, which I call my "Happy Place. In 2023, I returned to Québec and share my time between the Keys and the mountains of the Eastern Townships.
